27. April Hare [CORRUPTION SERIES]

Little word play with the March Hare from Alice... Except that since Mell was born in April.
It's mostly about Mell trying to be friends with Totoko. But since Totoko is overly paranoid and doesn't want Mell to get hurt, she runs away... And of course Mell doesn't understand. Until the threat comes from another side. One she clearly wasn't expecting.

28. Not a Monster [CORRUPTION SERIES]

It's mainly Teto talking to Tei for this one. Duality between a tsundere chimera who has been pretty popular and is now getting an AI to sing, and a yandere human who still only has her old voicebanks from the first half of the 2010s who's not been seeing from a good eye tsundere characters like Teto would be.

This is what was revealed in live.

- Sheena and Eri confirmed for SynthV, whenever they release. Will be bought on international Dreamtonics store. Not to be featured before CD40.5.

- AiSuu confirmed for VoiSona, once the perpetual license plan gets released (this winter). Not placed yet in an album.

- Gekiyaku confirmed to be part of the team since October 20, passed quality test with high success! Will be featured in CD40 "Mind Alteration Disorder" with one track for Corruption series and a normal track (both private). Deadline set to August 3 for public songs.

- Voicepeak COKO will be bought on DLSite on January 2024

Just realized that I didn't give you more info about CD40 that is currently being produced.

For now it has 30 tracks and 9 of them are done for now. The album is called "Mind Alteration Disorder" (it does a bit of a word play with the word "mad" if you notice well...). It will feature all deadlines from the second half of December (after Cong Zheng) and the January deadlines. And maybe Gekiyaku if she gets accepted (she didn't pass the quality test yet, it will come soon). The album will be released on March 9, 2024 (Sat).

As for vocals, little reminders of what is coming up next:

- HARU for November 12 evening or November 13 very early morning depending of if DLSite doesn't mess up
- KAFU gets upgraded to SynthV on January 14 evening/January 15 early morning
- concerning ROSA, AYA, SAKURA, SHION and YUKA we're still waiting for news...
- and so potentially Gekiyaku arrival for end 2023 if she passes quality tests (maybe October/November seeing how the album production is ongoing)
- concerning VOICEPEAK VBs, Itako is pre-ordered and arrives the 4th in the evening, still awaiting for the DLSite pre-order of SEKAI but for now it's set up for December

Other plan I have:

AiSuu.

When AiSuu (and KIRUNE) got announced to have a non-subscription license plan back this early September, I started to get more interested back in AiSuu... Who would be easier to manipulate than Chis-A even though it's on VoiSona. So whenever this plan will appear on VoiSona's website I'll take a perpetual license. Girl gets her revenge. Estimated for December (more mid or end) 2023 minimum.

That also explains how I got Yukari, Minato and #kzn for VoiSona. Thanks the CeVIO AI license!

For note, Minato will be used on both CeVIO AI and VoiSona as doubled vocal. Yukari and #kzn will be still used on CeVIO AI as long they don't get something on VoiSona that changes drastically their quality (like it happened for Minato). Crossing fingers!

Concerning affected lyrics due to low mental health, looked back and I can confirm:
- POPY it's still fine
- ROSE's deadline got a bit affected but it could have been worse
- the trio Yukari/CUL/Akari it's fine
- Celeste's got very, very harshly affected (this one will have a warn)
- the ones after this (right now I did until the last December deadline) it's quite fine...?
And since I'm not recovering at all it might continue sorry

I have so many updates to do... So going to put them all there.

I - KAFU SYNTH V

Release on January 15, 2024 JST. That makes January 14, 2024 4:00 PM for me (DLSite download, cheaper!!!). If everything goes fine. In any cases, that means the track 11 of disc 1 for CDHS3 will remain unchanged. To be honest, this was the scenario I was expecting. Now let's cross fingers so no curse.

II - OZONE AND NECTAR UPDATES

Yesterday, iZotope (now part of NI) released Nectar 4 Advanced and Ozone 11 Advanced. I took both upgrades. Any song composed after September 6, 2023 will now use these 2 plugins instead of respectively Nectar 3 Plus and Ozone 10 Advanced. The change should normally be transparent, aside from the blog and booklet credits.

III - THE €500 ORDER AT NKS STORE

On last Sunday, I wanted to check a promotion with a Play Series instrument and its expansion. I noticed the prices were ABNORMALLY LOW (it was almost sold for a single third of the initial price!!!) and I took over 12 instruments in total for €500. Tuesday evening, NI mailed me saying this sale... Was due to a technical incident. But that they would honor the orders done during the technical issue. So got things like Photosynthesis, Lunaris (1 and 2), Valves Pro and most especially... Utopia <3 Trance power <3

IV - STUDYING SOME POSSIBILITIES...

I know about VOCALOID beta and I didn't postulate because... I'm not Japanese. But seeing Gekiyaku possibly getting a bank in this beta gives me some hope she maybe would make the jump from UTAU to VOCALOID. If ever she does, expect her to get into the team. (not before 2024 for VOCALOID though!) Will try to find some time to make her pass quality tests for her UTAU banks, that sounds pretty promising and... I'll be honest, but I really, really love her esthetic <3

V - SOMETHING LESS FUNNY...

My mental health severely degraded on last Friday. To a critical point. Might be having some severe anxiety due to IRL job. And during the whole week, it went worse. Still trying to recover but there will be a long, loooooong way to go...
So if ever in the late December songs lyrics you notice it's more violent than the usual, you know why. I know the ROSE deadline for December got quite affected. The POPY one I went a bit lighter, but it's lyrics I wouldn't give her in normal time to be honest. However, concerning Celeste and the 3 others for December 22 deadline... Uh... I can't promise anything sorry '-'

I - MODIFIED TRACKS

03. Atone for Your Vices

I just changed GUMI AI 6.0.0 to 6.1.0. To be honest, I didn't use any mode on her and that might be why she sounds like this. I feel like the AI trained by Yamaha is more for... Maybe traditional Japanese songs? It might be me to be honest but really... It makes me think I would better use GUMI AI and GUMI Native behind at the same time. As a kind of doubling vocal.

II - INEDITE TRACKS

02. Hostile Presence [YANDERE]

A bit softer than track 1 but still... It's between the huge delusion and the truth. The rival is clearly not "clean", but the way the heroine sees him is still a bit exaggerated.

06. Solstice and 07. Equinox

I'll treat these ones together since they're sister songs. These are sisters waking up every 6 months. One takes the relay for 3 months, then the other one etc. They're regulating seasons. One is waking up during summer and winter, the other one during spring and autumn.

08. I Finally Caught You [EXPLICIT] [YANDERE]

OK that's the one being explicit. Your typical yandere hunting for someone, even if it includes taking pieces of this person... No other comment.

11. Until Sanity Breaks

Typically toxic relationship, to the point the heroine snaps at the end to free herself from her living nightmare.

13. Consumed by Rage

The title says it all I guess...? The hate of everything. Fed up with the whole world.

15. Who's the Monster Now

Someone who got treated as a monster, before the ones bullying her take a huge backlash. Like getting killed. Karma is a bitch you know well that right.

17. Countless Times Already [YANDERE]

OK the heroine is not the yandere herself. Instead, she is a person trying to help a yandere staying sane. Maybe we can get a good ending from this, for once...?

18. To Your Dismay

Someone proving the one who always berated her she was able to go way further than the other one thought. No matter it pleases them or not.

21. Addicted to You [YANDERE]

Actually close from a soft yandere, but it's someone being overly obsessed with someone. To the point any of her absences becomes a true pain.

22. Wake Up What's Inside

Dare betray someone, expect them to snap back at you. And to bite quite hard.

25. Living Flame [LOVECRAFT SERIES]

About Cthugha. And his servants. It was very hard to do to be honest... That's why I focused a bit more on the servants.

Concerning production, I'm 4 tracks away from being done with CD39.5. Next week I should start production of CD40.
