You can hear it quite well but I used the vivid VB. Easy to recognize because the most mature-sounding of all Nyui's voicebanks.
Without sleep, we become insane. After some will think "sleep is for weak". Is there a balance?

This is the last song produced under VEGAS 15, the next ones will use the new version from now on.
Story: If you remember "Carinthia", this was inspired about a killer of the game "Soul at Stake". Here the song is more general, because for the other song, I more studied the character than the game background itself. So to better explain, the game centers itself on a demon who created an urban legend and uses it for trapping humans. And that's how the ghosts appeared.
Music: keys, long plucks by FM8, choirs pad by M1, main lead by Autogun, cho lead by Toxic Biohazard, chords by GMS, sequence pads by Hybrid. It makes a creepy and eerie atmosphere. Also re-added the clock beats.

Wow... So here we are. 42nd album. I'm really glad to air this on Lily's birthday. This made a quick decision on which tracks to do in private mode only for this album. Welp, for Lily's birthday, it's not a song, but three, yes, three new songs just for her.

I'm sorry I haven't prepared an instrumental pack for these 3 tracks, this will be under request. If ever you need them, contact me or by the blog's page or on Twitter, which are the fastest ways.

Since I haven't a lot of things to say now, because all the infos are in this blog post... Changelog time. Only "MANCENILLIUM" and "SINCUBUS" remain the same (and it's because of the latter one the album has the explicit rating, sorry).

ILLANTHA (feat. Yuzuki Yukari)
[INSTRUMENT] Altered intro
[INSTRUMENT] Modified kick pattern in second verse
[PATCH] Fixed false note in third lead pattern

The false note thing could be really minor. I first fixed it in the capella of the demo, but there was still a weird impression at this moment of the song because of the lead. This shouldn't be the case anymore.

Oceana (feat. Yuzuki Yukari)
[CAPELLA] Slight enhancement of volume for both tracks
[INSTRUMENT] Added chord lead for verses (FM8)
[INSTRUMENT] Added SFX between bridge and last choruses

The SFX is almost impossible to hear sadly, compression. I just enhanced the volume of the capellas that was a bit too low in specific conditions.

Isolation (feat. CUL)
[INSTRUMENT] Added atmo sample for third verse
[INSTRUMENT] Modified kicks beginning for 2nd and 3rd verse
[INSTRUMENT] Modified OHH pattern
[INSTRUMENT] Removed impacts during non-vocal bridge
[PATCH] Impact before last chorus now hits at the beginning of synth patterns

The last one to be done, the one with the most changes... And there was a problem of measures.

Faith (feat. CUL)
[CAPELLA] Lowered volume of tri-harmonic capellas / chorus
[INSTRUMENT] Replaced some uplifters
[INSTRUMENT] Removed some uplifters
[MIXDOWN] Modified Phasis preset and reverb type for chorus capellas

In specific conditions the phased part sounded a bit saturated. Now it more sounds filtered. Also the main uplifter in the demo was weird to hear everytime.

Judith (feat. CUL)
[INSTRUMENT] Ending sweeps have now an uplifter
[PATCH] Intro is less abrupt

The intro was the main problem of the demo and it was due to the beginning impact. Now it is smoother.

Harajuku Freak (feat. Gahata Meiji -Lilith-, -Hunter-)
[INSTRUMENT] Added SFX at beginning of first verse and last chorus
[INSTRUMENT] Added supersaws pattern in second part of last bridge
[INSTRUMENT] Changed beats components
[SINGER] Added singer append (-Hunter-)

Lilith VB only was a bit smothered compared to the music sometimes. Now we have a really strong voice and the ending part does not saturate. The beats were also a bit weird, now they are more discret.

Carinthia (feat. Gahata Meiji -Lilith-)
[CAPELLA] Lowered volume of capellas
[EXTENSION] Extended outtro
[INSTRUMENT] Added gongs at beginning of first and second chorus
[INSTRUMENT] Added snares and kicks in second chorus parts

Exact reverse problem of "Harajuku Freak"! Here the voicebank was too loud, and I tried the Fairy VB first... But the quality of the Fairy VB is lower than the Lilith one for such reason... Also found weird the kicks and the snares were not present during the choruses.

CHIASMATIC (feat. Lily)
This is an unreleased song!

"CHIASMATIC" is a psychological horror track in a glitched and numeric darkwave style. Longest track of the album but with a great beauty.

Annihilation (feat. Lily)
This is an unreleased song!

In the spirit of "Re;BIRTH" and the songs have many similarities each other. There is still a difference which make them more mirrored than sister songs. Written thanks to censored bits of lyrics from "Carene" and "Black;Out".

BETANY (feat. Lily)
This is an unreleased song!

Really clear and nice music for a serious topic about forced wedding and how it would affect a yandere... To the point she decides to break the fates of the two families for the sake of her own. (Yes she's insane)

For the title, I made a weird derivative of "Bethany".
Story: About a yandere in love with a woman being destined to a man by their families. Worst idea ever in front of a yandere, for who only love counts. See when they say "they don't love you like I do"? Here it takes quite its sense! OK, in a few... Exaggerated way? (No seriously this girl is insane, don't act like her)
Music: To be honest I first thought when I composed the song that it was going to be a catastrophe. But I really liked the final result. Sequence pad by Hybrid, sidechained pad by FM8, lead by Morphine and arp by Toxic Biohazard.
This is the third and last song composed in private mode, its quality score is in the "good" range (0.8 something).

If you want to know funny things, here are two of them for this song. The first one is that it is actually really, really inspired from the song "Re;BIRTH". To the point we have similar instruments and structure but a different melody. The second one is that lyrics are actually fragments of removed lyrics from the songs "Carene" and "Black;Out", in their major part, which made this song easier to write than the others! Officially, "Re;BIRTH" and this song have no association. And the main reason is that... Look at the gender of heroine's lover. So yeah, you can consider them as "mirrored songs", but not "sister songs".

Story: I really wanted to do something about a woman having a break between two personalities and trying to struggle against the second one. This is typical psychological horror.
Music: very glitched and numeric darkwave-style music. Creepy but aerian atmosphere. Pads by Hybrid and FM8, bass lines by Transistor Bass, gated pad and leads by Toxic Biohazard.
This is the first song I made in private mode and has the best quality score out of the three exclusive tracks.

Story: a woman who got a horrible accident and gets so obsessed with pain that she wants to permanently sleep thanks to drugs to forget it. That's quite a harsh psychological one, I admit it.
Music: the song has a little particularity... You may have guessed that the title is derivated from the name "morphine". Well all the synths are from Morphine itself! (Except for the beats of course, which are manual, and if you want to know a thing, Morphine is not meant from recreating beat sounds. Even by re-synthesis) Recreated a hospital-like atmosphere.

On yesterday, I published the crossfade for the album "Annihilation", its air date being on Saturday, but also on Lily's 8th birthday (already...). This album is for people being 16 and more, but for the crossfade I chose parts of the concerned song that weren't concerned by the explicit rating. There's still the warning at the beginning of the video though.

This took me several hours to do this and I'll explain why later, but now, I have a tracklist to give, and sorry if it's coming only now, I also finished it yesterday evening.

For the voice, it's actually my voice, but with a lot of modifications: pitched up in Audacity, treated with Phasis and Fruity Love Philter, then by Nectar Elements (the legacy plugin, since I don't want to update to the new one seeming less intuitive for me)... And even for the tone itself I didn't take my usual one.

For this one, you have at least the title of the project revealed, "Imitation". So now that you know it, I let you guess on what it could be, how it could be. I won't let you guess when because I don't have an idea myself. But no worries it is coming, slowly, but it is coming indeed. So keep an eye around in everything.

Other news, the date for when I'll update VEGAS Pro to the v16 version is normally on August 27th. You'll be notified with a screen of the update request (with some parts censored such as private data), but more probably on Twitter. And the material lists will be updated as well. As for VOCALOID, I'm still waiting for an update of a voicebank I already have. Also, I see some messages about instabilities of the motor which don't really reassure me to be honest...
