This song is part of the Corruption series/main lore series.
Background: not sure if you know this but Itako and Kanon are actually voiced by the same person. Just with a bit different singing styles and different recordings.
Story: due to Itako and Kanon sharing parts of their file, even though the two are totally unrelated, Itako thought that Kanon would at some point replace her. Fear that has no true root since 1) it's also the case between Meiji, Bibi and Wistaria (especially Bibi and Meiji!) and 2) Itako is here since 2015 along with her sisters so why the hell should she feel abandoned. So it's some kind of question/answer song between a Kanon Yamada that tries understanding what is going on after being told about all the "things" the girls are doing, and a terrified Itako that gets a bit paranoid over Kanon. Hence her infecting Kanon... But not the three other singers of the unit. Thanks to a certain other fox girl with superhuman strength if you see what I mean... Because to stop another fox girl...
ALSO notice how Itako's voice is a bit distorted, since it's her corrupted self talking.
used Kanon 1.0 (rendered in VoiSona) and Itako 2.0 (rendered in CeVIO AI). Since I updated Itako and Kanon is solo singing. When I use Kanon's 2.0 in solo... Results are... Off pitch for some reason.
Music: lots of Asian music instruments, very reminiscent of the style used for Itako's song "Over-Protect" if you remember the album "Destruction". Today on June 11, 2024 I have an announcement to make concerning songs. I had a hesitation concerning whenever I would change seasons or not because of FL Studio changing versions but typically, I looked at several things behind.

First, since when season 6 started? Season 6 started on October 13, 2022. Meaning the season is a bit than a year old now. There were shorter seasons like the seasons 1 and 2 (and for very good reasons), so it's not too early for a season change.

Then, VOICEVOX. VOICEVOX has never been fully integrated during season 6 until now. It will be used for the Ritsu deadline on October 12, so it will be a good occasion for it.

Meaning that starting from today:

SEASON 7 HAS STARTED.

This concerns all songs starting from the next deadline (June 17 - Yun Quan).
This also means Zundamon and Metan will officially start on season 7. Same goes for SeeU. And ROSA was the last season 6 singer to be integrated.

In other news. For those who didn't see on Twitter, there are 2 important things.

The first one is that I supported a crowdfunding for 2 CeVIO AI banks. Hakoniwa Hano and Koto. (Yes, another Koto!!!) They will be available for me on November but their full release date will be on December 2024.
Deadlines: the release day on December 2024 for both (it means probably a duet song); March 6 for Hano and June 10 for Koto
And these deadlines will start applying from 2025.
Their 2 first songs will be duets and private songs in albums.

The second one is that it seems that on June 28, REML will get a VoiSona voicebank. And possibly a 2.0 upgrade at least I hope so. So expect for her next deadline to have her new voicebank featured!

A third thing I didn't say anything about. I'm aware about the musical isotope mini-live on July 7 and will try to keep an eye over any possible announcement in the end. Might be expecting more SynthV voicebanks (and hopefully an advance for KAFU?). Or other surprises who knows
Anyway if you see me retweeting something about them next month, you know what this will be...

I'm continuing to work on the album, slowly but surely. I have a lot of sleep to catch back and wasn't able to produce anything on last Sunday and on yesterday. Let's hope the rest of the week brings more fruits to the table!
