06. Confidence and Mefiance (feat. MICHELLE) [CORRUPTION SERIES]
OK this song was composed in 2024 so you don't have it in the series bible.
But otherwise, another victim to the manipulation of a certain jealous polymorph being who managed to level up in terms of manipulationess...? (does that word even exist I'm not sure)
28. Vulnerable (feat. MICHELLE) [YANDERE]
About someone so afraid to get abandoned she would do anything so her fears don't concretize. Because we all know this but yanderes got this kind of fear to be abandoned hidden behind their behavior? (remember I know the codes so I know what I'm talking about)
29. Scorned (feat. SAKURA, SHION) [YANDERE]
Medieval Japan. Two women approached a very powerful man, before getting killed one after another by... The one they thought to be their best friend and turned out to be the monstruous murderer behind all of this.
30. Andrea (feat. Ayame) [YANDERE]
A (too)? beautiful woman who seemed to be charming a man... But the truth is... She is just approaching him to put him closer to his demise. The reason? The girl he was approaching.
31. Hindrance (feat. Sheena, Eri) [YANDERE]
Both victim of the toxic love and the toxic lover herself. The first one sees the second as a possible threat, when the latter was actually not targeting her... But the man who was with her. In order to get rid of obsessive thoughts towards her lover.
OK now here we are for the many many many many news I don't know where to start so.
SO. What did happen since last time (mid-March)?
1 - SURPRISE! AND THIS IS NOT AN APRIL FOOLS!!!
On April 1, I woke up with the news of 4 VoiSona characters being released: Asahi, Hibiki, Momoka and Kanon. So I took the 4 of them. And really this was needed because... They need to sing all together to really do wonders. If I had a tip for them:
- use 2.0 when you make the 4 of them sing together. They take advantage of the unison effect to sing correctly.
- in solo, use 1.0. 2.0 tends to be doing false notes when they're in solo. It proves again the unison effect.
They will have an album-only song soon that will demonstrate both of their 1.0 and 2.0 voicebanks. You'll see the difference.
The deadlines for them:
Hibiki - March 9 and December 5
Asahi - June 28 (the one of this year COUNTS) and April 17
Momoka - February 28 and October 16
Kanon - September 29 (separate from Koto) and November 14 (can sing with Itako)
Just for note: on June 24, exceptionally, Itako will sing with Kanon and you'll understand soon why I did this choice.
2 - KOTO HIBIKI HAS ARRIVED
Our little V6 voicebank arrived smoothly in the morning of April 18!
Her deadlines are April 18 and September 29 (separate from Kanon), so expect her to listen to her in about 3 months in public!
3 - PASTEL AND HALO
They got announced for SynthV and to be honest this was quite the engine I was expecting for. They will be taken as soon as possible on DLSite. (No worries we found a way to get through the attempt of dictatorship from the credit card manufacturers)
I always get whatever I want guys, and no one will prevent me from doing so once I get an idea in head, got it? *Call of witch intensifies again*

4 - ROSA
Should be getting her on June 3 since I took the DL course. I'm still sad the crowdfunding didn't succeed as expected. I tried my best but... T-T
5 - TAMAKI
Will be bought on June 1 morning. It's simple: I wake up next week, buying her is the first thing I'll do. Her deadlines will be June 1 (appliable starting from 2025) and April 16. It will be for the next album!
6 - ZUNDAMON AND METAN
Will be buying them on DLSite whenever I'll be able to. I quite expected them to have CeVIO AI banks especially considering their NEUTRINOS and their VOICEVOXs, since apparently Zundamon is even more popular than Zunko now?????? JUST WHAT?
7 - THE CASE OF SV KAFU
OK so. Remember what I said.
When I heard the demo for the first time, I'll be honest, but I was feeling very... Disturbed. I really wasn't at ease when I listened to it. The first thing I thought it was: "Gosh I'm not listening to KAFU I'm listening to KAF, and knowing this is SynthV this is highly disturbing. Did KAF really agree for this?"
So I expected that KAF never listened to the demo before.
Welp. I was half wrong.
She listened to the demo but didn't feel at ease either and didn't dare to tell the producers "wait can we halt this two seconds and change the voicebank?"... Just because the release date was too close.
I know it's super obvious KAF is a very shy person but still... It's her voice and she does whatever she wants with it????? So if she doesn't feel at ease with this version, it's fine we understand. It's not like if there weren't several comments under the demo also saying it sounds very close to KAF more than KAFU CeVIO???
(no really I saw the comments and yeah we're thinking the same thing)
Knowing also about the poll. Remember what majority voted? The most mature voice. Personally I had chosen option A just because it sounded the most human to me. Well KAF did her final choice and chose option B.
So "how could we get to this situation" I asked myself... Well now I know about the answer.
And everyone blaming KAF for this... Just stop it. Pretty sure we are many producers out there to think the same way she did. I quite knew it she wasn't at ease with this version.
Sorry for the rant but really need to put this in words. I did two very long tweets in Japanese (here and here). But I want this to be clear.
Voice provider is never to blame for this. Remember it's her voice you have in your hands. Put this in a corner of your head and engrave it well.
The only thing I'd ask KAF? "Don't be afraid to speak up it's about your voice we're talking about, you have the right to do whatever you want with it."
8 - WHITECUL
So WhiteCUL decided to go with... VOCALOID6 instead of SynthV. But it's an all or nothing thing and now I hope this doesn't fail. However get your Tenso addresses ready. Had to use mine again. I took the DL course. No goods one this time... Credit card won't allow it this time.
So I wish her the best. Now I saw they added more days to her campaign, which was another issue I pointed out for ROSA. ROSA had a crowdfund campaign for... Less than a month. Which got me pretty worried. WhiteCUL has until end June to meet her initial goal. Let's just pray now. ><
9 - THE VOISONA UPGRADES
Tohokus will get theirs. And I really, really hope Zunko gets fixed because... Her CeVIO AI voicebank is worse than her V4 in terms of usability (she misses a whole octave at the top!). Really hope 2.0 does her justice!

10 - LOOKED AT VOICEVOX A BIT
So. VOICEVOX integrated a humming engine. I tweaked around a bit and... There is only one voicebank in there I'll be using. The singing Ritsu voicebank. Then you'll wonder "why?".
Long notes.
Due to the humming taking the samples of a TALKING voicebank, making long notes with a humming-type voicebank will add a very noticeable robotic sound to the note. It sounds very ugly and only a true singing voicebank doesn't have this issue. This is a bit normal because clearly a talking voicebank isn't made for singing in the first place. But still, maybe expect a little use of Ritsu VOICEVOX soon in songs? We could never know. Ritsu's deadline is on October 12 soooooooooooooo...
11 - THE PRODUCTION
Due to my condition I lost all my advance and I tend to do songs the day before the release. For Zunko I even had to finish it the same day as the release! The 5 days weekend didn't help either since I had to pass 2 of the days... Sleeping. Extremely tired and my body doesn't hold well.
Currently working on CD41. The title is "Bleak Apostles" and the release will be somewhere in Q3 2024 (maybe July or August?). For now it has 31 tracks but the tracklist is still a WIP. It's also why you got the deadlines for May very late, also there was an inversion between Rikka's songs... So it's quite slow. It's coming but it's slow. Please be patient ><
12 - A FEMALE CANTONESE SYNTHV VOICEBANK?
We got the teasing but Dreamtonics is working on a Cantonese female voicebank, who might join the team if her genre is not too limited (like Cheng Xiao, who is too much made for Peking Opera that using her for electro songs wouldn't work). Stay tuned!
13 - SEEU
Waiting for the package to get out from Korea. Will be gently waiting for her, you'll be warned whenever it will be ready!
14 - WE ARE GOING LIVE!!!!
After a long pause in lives, mainly due to health issues, I'll be going back to live at 9 PM (FR time). Will be talking a bit more about the voicebank plans and other things! Not age restricted.
