Original English text

Once upon a time, inside of this old temple almost in ruins
Lived an old man and his cat, fighting against famine
This cat was his unique happiness
It had the biggest place in his heart

Everyday the cat was washing his fur outside of the temple
But the more the time passed by, the more the man got worried
He kept praying, praying, again and always
Hoping someday a god would free them

One day a noble arrived under a pouring rain
He saw the cat carelessly washing himself
Entered in the temple, he saw a lightning light
His life was saved, the cat wasn't there for nothing

Explanations...

Let me tell you about the maneki neko legend. An old man lived in his temple with his cat. They were both hungry and very poor, to the point the temple was slowly falling into ruins. Until one day, a noble passed by there and saw the cat washing his fur. Seeing the move of the cat's paw, the noble thought as if the cat wanted to invite him in the temple and does so... When he looks behind him, he sees the thunder falling just upon the tree he was under few minutes earlier. He thanked the cat and wanted to reward his master. And since then, the old man and the cat lived happily in the temple and never lacked of anything else.
Music: went back to electroworld here. Flute by Ireland, pad by Jade Evolutions, lead by Koto Nation and choir by Lacrimosa Choir. The choir is very subtle, so maybe put headphones on to better listen to it?
