Story: a werewolf girl falls in love with a beautiful woman, still being afraid of her knowing the truth about her werewolf nature and not daring approaching her. She just has her own despair, killing the lover of the one she really loves before being rejected.
Music: at least Straylight, Massive and Serum were used, with Mallet Flux. It went on a sort of light, airy pop song. Almost a little point of feeric.

For MAYU's song you'll get it after I finish working (so near 5/6 PM at my local time).

On May 2nd, my external hard drive started to die by very very slowly reading its architecture and randomly disconnecting whenever trying to go further in the architecture or when trying to detect a certain number of files to copy them. This copy is still ongoing and is using my two last computers (current one and the one before).

The first files being retrieved were the most vital files for production. Instrumentals have been retrieved at 100% so you'll get MAYU and Zunko's next songs as usual. Currently it's vital files from FL Studio data's folder being retrieved on the other computer. The main current one is retrieving most of the non-urgent data, just in order to less tire the damaged drive when copying and limit the copy to only the files created after a certain date. The drive used for main computer copy for these files is currently the 2To unit that was used until 2019 which was 100% sane. So I'll just have to reactualize some folders.

Komplete folder has been revitalized and recreated by hand by using the Komplete hard drive, most of my phone data and a work place connection for the Stradivari Violin iso. It is now 100% back to normal.

Samples folder hasn't been 100% regenerated, but that may be easy to do since I know the only difference between the samples on the previous computer and here are just a folder for Black Octopus and less than 10 for Cymatics. So for now it's just 95% completed again.

Production will resume once all the production necessary files regenerated. My NAS didn't arrive yet because UPS... Truncated by mistake my adress making it unusuable, so I sent back instructions and I'm waiting for a new shipping date. For now, it's another new external drive (same product as the one just before) taking the relay.

Concerning ONE and IA, if by June 15th their CeVIO AI VBs still don't arrive their tracks will be inverted with some of the album after. There would also be the possibility to merge these albums into a two parts big album one (similar to the concept that had "The Insane Door" except it would be in 2 different virtual CDs and not a single one).

Concerning KAFU her release date was pushed back to July 7. Her tracks have been moved to the album after the one in production. Instead you'll get the public tracks for Itako and GUMI that were intended to be released on June 24 and 26 respectively. So exchange of 2 private tracks for 2 public ones. The other private track for Itako will remain in the July/August production album as originally intended. As for GUMI, her private tracks were already in the March-June one.

Also learnt something for Yukari AI that I'll have to test, but apparently, whenever she has her pitch issues there would be a slur setting to apply to the concerned notes. And this was probably why when I tried to do "NANZIA -Truth-" with the Rei VB I had weird results since when I make capellas, I generally render in a "vanilla" status (= no changes to the notes and no sup' plugins) then apply on the effects under VEGAS Pro.

Will keep you aware for the progress of the data retrieval. It will be a bit slow but thanks to the 2To drive it should be slightly faster, but also safer for the damaged drive.

VY1 has never been very sane, due to her lack of personality and the twists her mental got during these past years. Now Saki has arrived, two potential rivals are meeting, and VY1 says that what they were criticized for, the lack of fixed appearance and fixed personality, is their strength that can help fight against the curse. But this is just a pretext and VY1 contaminates Saki by herself, harshly betraying her.

NANZIA -Truth- - Yukari Jun

Intended to do this with the Rei VB but got serious pitch issues, so used Jun VB. The truth behind NANZIA. Too many things that were hidden until now. From all the truth edits, this is possibly the one remind the most the original song it went from.

So. Bought Serum last Friday... I had some fun doing "Ripped Reaper". That was quite interesting to do a very harsh song. Thanks for all the support I got on both Nyui's songs! Will try my best ><

I'm so glad ROSA will be on SynthV! Expect me to take her! Plus what Hiroto-P told us on Twitter gave us lots of promises! I really hope ROSA sees the day someday! And why not CUL's other sisters!

There will be a while with no public songs again, since the next one will be on May 6th for MAYU. But after you'll get lots of songs. March and April are the most empty songs over the whole year.

Concerning Meiji's song for August 8th, there are high chances she gets published on time and not several days in advance this year.

Music: I bought Serum in the end of last week. So I mainly used it, for an atmo, for some of the gritting synths... Massive X did the rest. Two massive beasts of dubstep to make a more noisy, uneasy, harsh music. You know the music is not meant to be appreciated. It's more passing a message of harshness the lyrics are giving. It's the song of an anger against boredom.

She is there! GUMI Adult! In excellent state!

So installed since yesterday evening on the computer.

Giving another new for you all: the next album is called "AI Project" and will be released for April 10, 2021 (Sat.). It contains 19 tracks, including 11 inedite ones! Among the inedite tracks: one using Kiritan AI, one using Yukari AI, a Xin Hua/Tianyi duet, a solo song with Saki and a duet VY1/Saki!

The song with Nyui I'll release in few minutes is NOT part of this album. It will be part of the album after this one.

Some news to bring you now.

1) SSD status

Few days ago I sent back the abnormally damaged SSD to the company who sold it to me. They told me they would rather try to repair it than do an exchange. On Thursday they sent me back a new, unused SSD as a replacement. This meant the issues the other 1To SSD was suffering from were indeed not fixable. On Friday I recloned on this new SSD what was on the former 1To one. The disk was checked afterwards and the whole mapping revealed all sectors were fine. We're over with this, finally!

2) KAFU

KAFU was revealed to be released on May 31, 2021. The preorder is currently only for the starter pack, which is not interesting enough for me since Yukari already came with this starter pack. Once I'll be able to get a package of the song voice alone, I'll buy it. If ever this doesn't get released I'll get the download version.

3) GUMI Adult

Amazon still not giving any news, and another seller wanting to sell a GUMI Adult in the status "Used - Like New" (same status as Xin Hua when I got her (this status usually means the product was bought then returned without any opening)), I got into another procedure to get the package. The seller in question only ships within Japan, meaning for the first time I'll have to use a forwarding service. Most people I know used Tenso as forwarding service, so I sent documents for ID check which were approved this night. Few minutes ago, I bought the GUMI Adult to make it ship to the Tenso adress (and then Tenso would send me the package, very probably with EMS) and cancelled the half-order on Amazon.

I currently have no date for the shipping, but high chances this will be during the week of March 29th-April 4th.

Also I'm having her at a very reduced price (probably because of the status?). Let's hope this was the good choice.

Status for IA and ONE still didn't change for now. I learnt for ROSA, CUL's sister, and the project quite interests me. To see then how this will turn out, but I hope Hiroto-P will manage to release her someday!

Concerning CD31, I'm still working on it.

Here is the part 1 for GUMI's enhancement. Power voicebank. It's not installed nor activated for now though, and I'll explain later why.

What is going on...

When I said the other day the hard drive incident was repaired... That was what I thought. I managed to get more info about the failure and sadly, it's a physical failure. Meaning the 1 To SSD in the very powerful computer has a manufactory issue. So for now the computer took back its 512 Go original SSD, which is ensured to be 100% sane, the time the 1 To SSD gets sent into repair. And then we'll see if it will indeed get repaired or if it will get a replacement.

Hopefully I deactivated VOCALOID and SynthV before switching back, so I didn't lose any other activation. But for now, as long I'm on the original SSD, I won't install GUMI Power for now. Because I should reclone the 1 To drive and not the 512 Go one. And if I install GUMI Power on the 512 Go drive, I'll have incoherences with the clone created from the 1 To before the SSD emergency switch.

For GUMI Adult

Japanese Amazon still doesn't have any shipping date. So I don't have any further info for now. They started shipping GUMI Power on Wednesday because their date for the package arriving to my home was on today. And since because of its departure place it needed 2 days for the package to arrive, they sticked it to send the package on Wednesday so I get it on the Friday.

No other release date for now. I'm keeping an eye around.

At least you'll get a post during this long period of "no public works". Several things to announce.

1) GUMI's "enhancement"

I bought the 2 vocals on Japanese Amazon yesterday, finally. There is just one thing that worries me, it's that for the Adult VB package, there is currently no shipping date and Amazon doesn't know when it will be back in stock. The message appeared just after I passed the order. For now, the Power VB package is marked to be shipped for March 10th, but seeing the circumstances, I can't ensure this will be the real shipping date. I need to know whenever they can get back the Adult VB in stock back. If this package gets cancelled for some reason, it will be download version on the English VOCALOID store. I'll try to inform you about any evolution of the situation.

2) More precisions on the new vocals

IA and ONE will be for May/June so... And there was another vocal I had an eye on since few weeks ago, it's KAFU. The issue with KAFU is that... The demos on her channel... They either used filters, either bad tuning, which makes her to sound pretty robotic with a huge engine noise. Got the confirmation this wasn't her final quality when I found (thanks to someone, they'll recognize themselves) 2 videos of demos by other people for KAFU with excellent quality. You know what it means: if someone can do excellent quality, anyone can do. That's why for CeVIO, I often go further than the demos introduced by the companies. It all depends of the mastering and the effects, which can alter the judgement. So I can confirm you that, once she gets out, KAFU will be part of the team as well!

Since no other announcement for SynthV, Rikka is still not interesting enough for me in terms of voice, despite her very high quality.

3) Reminder for anyone using CeVIO AI btw, especially Kiritan AI...

SPLIT your different parts into different tracks. You'll thank me. I need to test out phoneme distortion on Yukari as well, but for Kiritan, if ever you have different parts of the song (separated by instrumental bridges) in the same track, your first part will always sound well, but the others will have severely degraded quality, with excessive breathing and phoneme distortion.

4) Severe incident this week

I lost an activation for VOCALOID and SynthV already. The SSD of my computer started to have severe lags, including the mouse, on the 17th. I scanned the disk and discovered the presence of bad sectors. I had to do at least 2 passes to correct this. Happened a moment I had to update a software, which totally bugged out because, very probably, the software was trying to read or to write on a corrupted block, so I tried to cancel the install and to rollback the computer... Grave mistake. This made Windows unable to boot, being stuck in recuperation mode. I could access cmd, try to check disk it, but unable to repair files's system, fix Windows's image or even worse, to reset Windows. Even this didn't work! (Meaning possibly several partitions of the disk were corrupted, not only the Windows one)

To tell you the truth: I'm back on the same computer, the super highly powerful one. But it was at a price. To rewrite the whole SSD with zeros (it's called a low level formatting, and it gets out physical bad sectors and resets the logical bad sectors (since it's theorically badly written data, so when you write zeros, there's nothing left)) and to reclone on this cleansed ver the disk image I used to switch SSDs for this computer (which was sure to be sane).

Meaning I lost a month of softwares, the activation for VOCALOID I had (I had deactivated it before doing this clone in case of issues because I switched to different types of SATA M.2 SSDs) and the one for SynthV (because I didn't have the software at the time). CeVIO is less problematic in the sense it normally auto-deactivates the previous activation when you activate a new time.

Other music software with limited activations are safe in the sense there were already active on the clone, so they're not lost.

This means I don't have the right to any other mistake for VOCALOID and SynthV without going to the support. Which means multiple tickets to Japanese and Chinese companies. And it's horribly difficult for someone who isn't part of these countries at the base.

At least, I got back my SSD without buying a new one, and I immediately made a sane clone of the disk with all the softwares activated. Which means I could use this image instead of the January one to fix any other disk error. I just need to be careful no other logical bad sector declares itself.

Just hoping this never ever happens again, because I passed a whole week on this. No kidding.

5) Next album

It would be a 19 tracks (yes yes, 19, you well read) album for April 2021. I didn't confirm any other date for now, neither the album name. For now it's called "AI Project", but it's still subject to change. 6 private tracks are left to do on this one.

Nyui's songs for end of March won't be part of this album. However you'll find back some tracks such as "Awake Angel", "The Blade of Marseille", "Pathologic", "Eagle for Liberty", "Humanity's Biggest Fear", "Agony", "Salome" or "Odessa". The album will feature new singers Tianyi and Saki, as well as the CeVIO AI vers of Yukari and Kiritan... Who'll be very easy to recognize actually, because their singing style has nothing to do with their other versions.

In a nutshell...

- Suffered a hard drive incident which got repaired, at the price of an activation for VOCALOID and SynthV - no right to any other mistake. Current SSD saved into a sane copy.
- ONE and IA for CeVIO AI confirmed for May/June, as soon they'll get released.
- KAFU confirmed for as soon she'll get released, no date for now, probably first half of 2021 like her studio is saying.
- GUMI Power confirmed to arrive in March in a package ver. GUMI Adult may come in package ver a bit later whenever she'll be available for Amazon - if this fails, a download version will be bought instead.
- CD31 confirmed for April 2021, 19 tracks including 11 inedite works. Will feature Saki and Tianyi, as well as CeVIO AI vers of Yukari and Kiritan. Temporary album name is "AI Project".
- Next public demos confirmed for CD31.5.
