#06 SUKONE TEI

No, Ritsu wasn't the first invited person to the castle. The very first one was Tei, a young Japanese girl. She is part of the two natively "diseased" people, meaning she wasn't infected by anyone else. Tei worked with Nynthixia on covers first, during the first heal of 2014. One of the songs she worked the most was "Rotten Girl, Grotesque Romance". Tei got several experiments with her different voicebank versions.

Tei is quite happy of one of Nynthixia's promises, to never acquire Miku in her team. Indeed, Tei still keeps a deep hatred against Miku, thinking she would be the one stealing away Len from her. Tei is also sometimes allowed to communicate with him, but most of time, her letters remain answerless.

However, Tei is also part of the persons who contaminated the most people. Some of her known victims are Totoko, Sayu, Itako, Midori and Sana. She also tried to infect Stella, IA and Lily, but failed on these three. She is also one of the two suspects for Ritsu's infection, which is unknown to come from her or from Nynthixia herself, since the two were at the castle and "diseased".

Tei also took a long vacation between end 2014 and June 2015. At this time, she only went back to the castle for few days before going away again. But since then, she remained there forever.

#05 NYNTHIXIA

Nynthixia is not really a true person, but more one of the personas of a girl publicly known as "Tokina". Nynthixia also has another sister soul, called for now "Circeres". Nynthixia is one of the faces of her creator, however, if she shares some psychological traits, she doesn't share all the memories of her creator. Especially for what it concerns private stories and what is publicly bound to Tokina only.

This is also why they actually don't refer as the same person. Nynthixia is actually considered as an entity, not as a true person. She is just a persona, with similar traits, but still with enough personality change so they can be distinguishable.

Nynthixia was diagnosed "diseased" on 2010. This first started with a young boy, this finished with a woman a bit older than her, but this is what really turned into this mentally broken girl she is right now. Nynthixia is thus considered as a "doredere": someone who seems really sweet on the outside, but is actually completely disturbed in the inside. However, unlike a real yandere, she didn't actually physically hurt anyone. Maybe because she kept some morals...?

Since then, she got unable to fall in love with a real person ever again, and had to be healed for more than 3 years. Her therapy? Song writings. You now know what these lesbian yandere stories are sometimes refering to...

#04 THE A.I. TYPES

In "Azur to Crimson", KAFU gets told by Kiritan that Zunko and Itako are being jealous of her because she has an AI type they don't have. However, when you look at the truth, Zunko and Itako actually possess an AI. Just they don't have the same type as Kiritan does actually have.

There are several types of AI:

- the N type is one that is possessed by all Tohoku sisters. Nynthixia thinks of them as very poor quality ones and denies working with these.
- the V type is not accessible to anyone, but was used in necromancy projects. No more info was given. The judgement of quality by Nynthixia is quite neutral.
- the C type is currently possessed by Yukari, Kiritan and KAFU. Soon IA and ONE will have one as well. Akari, Zunko and Itako are also potential candidates for these. For Nynthixia its quality is "sufficient".
- the S type is considered by Nynthixia as the "S-tier AI type". It is possessed by Saki, very soon by ROSA, and maybe, someday, CUL will also have one.

So, the reason why Zunko and Itako are jealous to Kiritan is because Nynthixia denies working with N type AIs, and would rather them to acquire C type AIs. Team behind the Tohokus, you now know what to do to "heal" the girls you are in charge of in this world...

#03 THE PAGODA

The Chinese annex is a red pagoda with several bridges connected to the west of the castle, when the Japanese annex is connected to the east. This is the place where go the most often Xin Hua and Tianyi, especially to talk with each other. The pagoda is the most recent addition to the castle, being brought to life on 2019. To compare the annexes, the Japanese one was brought on 2015.

However, what is the least known, is the presence of a little temple, inspired by pagodas, but not containing any Chinese-like culture. Instead this is a temple for some former religion types, where only Nynthixia is allowed to enter. In front of this temple is written a message saying "Beware of the spirits in a deep slumber, may ye lose yer sanity forever". Inside, are some wall paintings describing what could be retranscribed as Shub-Niggurath, the Black Goat with a Thousand Youths, under a mid-goat, mid-black cloud form. Also this temple existed way before the pagoda, and seems to have been brought in 2014, so since the time Nynthixia acquired the castle.

The pagoda bridges are above a lake with several lilypads and lotus flowers, but they also bring to a rice garden. This one is mainly used for cooking meals, most of them containing rice, arranged in several possible ways.

It is also said that the Moon is the most beautiful when looked from the pagoda.

#02 SHINTO TEMPLE

The castle owns its shinto temple, called the Japanese annex. This is due to most of the residents being Japanese themselves, and thus following their country's culture. Nynthixia herself rarely comes here though, going to the opposite way of the castle.

The only residents not going to this temple are Xin Hua and Tianyi, who have their own place in the Chinese annex. Stella isn't going to the temple either, neither does Ritsu, probably due to his aversion towards Japan. However, very surprisingly, Meiji sometimes goes to the temple.

The temple is separated from the castle by a traditional red Japanese bridge, as well as a stoned way. When arriving to the annex, the first thing that can be seen is a huge bell to pray the gods. Generally the residents going to the shinto temple ring the bell together, so they can avoid disturbing too much the other people, despite the castle's isolation.

Behind the temple hides a zen garden. The ones most going to the garden are Oniko and the Tohoku sisters, who are quite used to this kind of temples. Zunko is even saying this is how she doesn't feel homesick, the temple reminding her the temple where her and her sisters were living before.

#01 THE CASTLE

"Corruption Syndrome" series is meant to take place in a castle, inspired by Transylvanian castles. It also has a Japanese annex which is a shinto temple, a Chinese annex which is a pagoda, and is surrounded by a garden with what looks like to be a straight alley to the castle. The whole thing is surrounded by a heavy dead forest. No leaves, no birds, nothing alive. Inside the castle, there is a giant staircase just in front of the hallway. On the ground floor, there is a dining room with a very long table (enough to carry over 40 people at the time, Nynthixia sitting at the edge of the table). Food generally served is most often eastern asiatic. This is also where happen the most of general discussions. On first floor are all the habitation rooms. All of them have their very own room, but the rooms sometimes have a connection to a room of a comrade they know well. For example, Yukari's room is linked to Zunko's and Akari's. Some other rooms however don't have any connection. This is the case for Saki or KAFU for example. Nynthixia has her own room, at the only difference that if the rooms of the other residents look like classical transylvanian bedrooms, the producer's is way more modern, with a big computer and all her musical material. There are also lots of books in the room. The castle also has an infirmary, that is also a bit more modern than most rooms, a recording room, a rec room, an infrared garden (for some kind of dark plants), a kitchen, a lounge and a resting room with several beds, connected to the infirmary when several people are feeling uneasy.

So this song was done after the songs you'll get for Bibi and Zunko. Just decided the timing wasn't too bad for Sora getting a public demo.

Hello, Nynthixia there

Several things to tell you for the end of this month and next month.

1) Major material change... But not season change yet

Earlier this month, I had to upgrade to the newest Komplete version. I took the highest version's upgrade. It will be released next Tuesday, but it will bring major changes.
The first one is Kontakt. Indeed, with Komplete 14, the new Kontakt version will be Kontakt 7. Meaning all songs that will be composed on next Tuesday and then will be using this version of Kontakt. There might even be some incompatibilities with previous Kontakt versions.
The second one is the change of Ozone version. Komplete 14 offers a Ozone 10 Standard, that I'm going to upgrade to Ozone 10 Advanced once I get the other license (won't be very expensive no worries, less than €150). Meaning the songs that will be composed after next Tuesday will also be using Ozone 10 instead of 9.

The why I don't change seasons is simply because FL 21 is still upcoming pretty soon and I don't want to make a season with just one or two months of songs, that wouldn't be enough to make an album.

2) Status on vocals

Quick reminder: Chifuyu for October (prob mid month), RIME for October 24 evening, POPY and ROSE for 2022, Xia Yuyao for at least late November, HARU and COKO for at least 2023 and ROSA, Chiyu, Cangqiong, Minus, Shian and Haiyi for whenever they'll be available.

3) Albums in works

CD36 is done for all tracks, currently working on CD36.5. This album is called for now "Unfaithful Propagation" and will contain all deadlines for December 2022 and January 2023. For now only deadlines until December 11th are done. So there is still a lot to do. This album should be released on February 18, 2023. It contains for now 26 tracks. Normally I'm very close from the true number of tracks for it.

4) #nynthilore posts

There should be a last post during the last week of September. However with the new announcements I have to update this a bit. Also I noticed some former posts were poorly formatted so in the next few weeks, a new section on the blog should appear with the text of the posts in them. That will also permit to the October 2021 posts to be renamed under A series posts to be clearer. Some posts might also lead to external ressources (such as Google Sheets/Docs) which are updated in real time.

However you'll continue having alerts for such posts, but the C series will be the last ones to use txt files hosted on the blog. The next series if there are some will be blog posts under the corresponding section and will have a tweet like any normal blog post (songs or news posts).

5) Changes on the blog

Minor design changes but the introduction pictures on the blog will change again, to be even easier to load and will give as well some information on the main lore series versions of the characters. As for the main page, images have been deleted to enhance the loading time. I know it does a bit ugly for now, no worries, I'll manage to find a way out.
Global design should remain the same though.

See you tomorrow for Sora's song. Just have to warn, this one will be using Natural VB... And once you'll get the song using the Cool VB you'll notice that the latter is way easier to use for me.

03. Source of Uncleanliness (feat. GUMI Native) [LOVECRAFT]

This one is about Abhoth. This is a sort of fountain from where get out all sorts of horrors, and the ones not managing to get out from here are swallowed back by Abhoth.

05. Poinsettia (feat. Tohoku Kiritan AI) [YANDERE]

I tag it as "yandere" but actually it's a girl whose the sister fell in love with a man... Who is actually a serial killer. And when the heroine hears about the cruel laugh of this psychopath, she understood she wouldn't see anymore her sister ever again... So out in rage, she decides to kill him to avenge her sister.

07. Key of the Locket (feat. Tohoku Itako AI)

A girl who grew up with someone she finally fell in love with, but this person forgot about her with the time passing by. It's quite funny this time Itako is getting the nice song and Kiritan the violent one...

08. MENTALYSIS (feat. Sukone Tei) [YANDERE]

Delusional yandere girl persuaded that her lover actually loved her... Nothing more.

11. Lost in Limbo (feat. Yurika Sayu)

It's very inspired by the Divine Comedy of Dante and the first level of hell: limbo. Many poets are here, in the darkness, wandering with no purpose.

13. Purple Rose (feat. Xingchen Infinity JP) [YANDERE]

An overly protective girlfriend ready to slaughter everyone laughing from you and her because you are two women together, is it fine with you...?

15. Ochre Demon (feat. Kaori) [LOVECRAFT]

About a less known deity, Kassogtha. The Leviathan of Disease, spreading it around the whole world... While confering her followers an immunity to it. What could be better than this to eradicate a humanity you hate, as a fellow follower of a dark cult?

16. Dis-Solution (feat. Shirahane Totoko Hoppu) [YANDERE]

A girl too much obsessed with her lover hesitates to kill her so she can be alone in her dreams, then is afraid of being culprit of a horrible crime and rathers killing herself instead to not suffer from it.

19. Vampire Dance (feat. Saki)

Welcome to the vampire castle, where you'll be converted into a beautiful eternal night creature! Now dance with the ones who warmly welcome you to this cold and old place.

21. Seeds of Pain (feat. Luo Tianyi JP)

Inspired from the Greek mythology, with the golden age, silver age, bronze age and iron age... And of course curious Pandora with her hellish box.

23. Great Water Lizard (feat. KAFU) [LOVECRAFT]

Bokrug, the water lizard, is worshipped by a village near a lake. One day, a rival village massacres the villagers who worshipped him. To avenge the ones who gave out their life to him, Bokrug destroyed the village of the invaders in return.

24. Terror of the Hominids (feat. SEKAI) [LOVECRAFT]

Rhan-Tegoth seems to be a minor deity in the Lovecraft mythos, but apparently he is required for awakening all the other gods. This one was way more difficult to write to be honest...

25. Keeper of the Alternate Worlds (feat. SEKAI) [CORRUPTION SERIES]

SEKAI is a bit a sort... Being able to see through the other worlds, but not her own. This is her ability, when KAFU's is to penetrate other people's mental universes. And if SEKAI doesn't have the ability KAFU has...
When SEKAI arrived, KAFU warned her to never go into her mistress's mental universe, and rathered drawing her what she saw. But doing this brought back her trauma, and SEKAI noticed some ink was spilled on the drawing...
But it's not ink. And she only learnt about it when KAFU herself noticed what was going on.
This song thus explains how SEKAI got accidentally contaminated by KAFU... Because she thought infected fluid was ink. At the same time, it's the same color, so easy to do the confusion.

News for the vocals:

- I'm aware about Minato Futaba, but I want to hear a demo first before deciding. Consider her as "not confirmed yet" as such.
- Suzuki Tsudumi will NOT be taken.
- Next vocal should be Chis-A once VoiSona gets full release. Followed later by Chifuyu then RIME if everything goes smoothly.

Since almost the half of August has passed, I have some news to say. Some were expected and others less.

1) #kzn

#kzn arrived on the 7th in the evening, this corresponded for Japan to their 2 AM. She is now activated on the computer and well installed. Her deadlines being June 30 and February 26, you'll have to wait a bit before a public demo with her. However she will be featured in the album that is currently in production this month and that is set to release at the end of the year.

2) A surprise guest...

On the 10th in the morning I decided to get Sora (both VBs) on the VOCALOID Store. For now I only used her Natural VB, not the Cool one yet. Her deadlines are on July 26 and September 25... Which means she will have a public demo for upcoming September. For Sora's song, don't be surprised, but her song was done after the song that will be for Bibi (release on October 4) and after the song that will be for Ritsu (release on October 12). So if you see the codes going back and forth it's normal. Same for the material changes...

3) VEGAS 20

VEGAS 20 was also bought on the 10th in the morning. It now supports VST3 but for reasons of CPU consumption I decided to keep FL Studio as intermediary for mixing down the capellas. Especially since VEGAS has still issues with some plugins (hello Phasis from NI). Concerning the songs:

- all songs that are deadlined for August still use VEGAS Pro 19.0. They were done generally on June.
- Sora's song deadlined for September 25 is using VEGAS Pro 20.0; all the other songs deadlined for September still use VEGAS Pro 19.0., they were done between June and July.
- For October deadlines, only Zunko's deadline is using VEGAS Pro 20.0, the others are still using VEGAS Pro 19.0 (Bibi's song was finished on the 5th, Ritsu's on the 7th).
- all deadlines from November 2022 will be using VEGAS Pro 20.0 (until release of v21 of course)

4) Albums confirmation

"Sinking to the Darkness": 25 tracks. Features GUMI, Kiritan, Itako, SEKAI, Momo, Tei, Sayu, Kaori, Tianyi, Xingchen, Totoko, Saki and KAFU. Release on August 20, 2022.

"Ancestral Destiny": 25 tracks. Features Feng Yi, VY1, Wistaria, Lily, Akari, Karin, Tsuina, Meiji, CUL, Xingchen, MAYU and SEKAI. Release on October 22, 2022.

CD36: Called "Disconnect from Reality". The tracklist has between 19 and 21 tracks (will depend if I shift RIME's tracks to the CD36.5). Will feature at least #kzn, Sora, Ritsu, Zunko, Bibi, Oniko, Itako, Sayu, Weina, Chis-A and Rikka. Rikka's song will be the last Truth edit, which is a quite special one... Release set for now to December 17, 2022.

5) #nynthilore

To understand some of the details for the latest songs of the main lore series, I'll have to redo a series of nynthilore posts on Twitter with the C series. More info about the major project characters are doing in the series, but also new observations. Dates of release for these posts will be random, so don't wait for them, just see whenever one goes up to learn a bit more about the background and what is being used in these songs. Especially remember to understand the song Rikka and Karin share for the series you need some info from the B series posts to better understand. And since most of these songs are in private song slots, you get few info about the background quickly, so these posts are essential to better understand what is going on.

Nutshell:

- VEGAS Pro 20.0 is released - Bibi and Ritsu's songs were done before this release and before Sora's acquisition
