There will be quite many news in this post so please read until the end. First, the voicebanks. Yu Yao arrived here on January 18 evening as intended, the box arrived here on the 5th and I just had to wait for the DL link to be active. And then I had to wait for COKO... So what the hell happened.

Typically, DLSite normally releases the softwares, including the voicebanks, on the day of release in Japan, but at their midnight. This corresponds, in France, to 4 PM when we are in winter time and 5 PM when it's summer time the day before. I generally come back home near 5 PM anyway after work. So I just expected COKO to be on the website once I was back home... And she wasn't here. For the ones who would be thinking "try the other websites". DMM doesn't work for non-Japanese, Amazon JP for DL ver didn't work either (both French and Tenso addresses!)... Plus I had a coupon on DLSite that would permit me to spend 15% less. So I just refreshed the website for hours and then started to think "OK they just forgot so what hour generally KAMITSUBAKI releases their things"... And this hour was Japanese noon. 4 AM in France. And since I'm lacking sleep, I thought about 6 AM... I check back a bit after 4 AM and surprise, COKO present on DLSite. That's why I unlocked her near 4:30 AM for about €64 (thanks the coupons!!!). I have to admit... I hardly slept this night.

So now to see if I'll get HARU on the evening of April 28... Or if they forget again to release on time on DLSite, April 29 in the night.

OK now. The albums.

CD37.5 ("Ruin Her"): I just have one track left to do with COKO. The other one I finished it on Wednesday evening. After I'll just have to do the rest: booklet, missing certificates etc.

CD38: will start its production this weekend as well. The album is called "Slippage" and will be released on August 19, 2023. I have to warn but... Expect the lyrics of most songs in this album to be quite harsh. You have been warned. It contains all deadlines of June and deadlines for the first half of July. This album has currently 25 to 27 tracks (there are 2 in reserve in case of a surprise voicebank, mainly thinking about Dreamtonics). And just... No, HARU is not in this one yet. She will be in the one after.

CDHS3: 25% of the tracks are done for now. I'm thinking about the possible bonuses I can offer with it because to be honest... CDHS2 didn't have many things. So I started to work on a giant booklet. If you follow me on Twitter, you might have seen these tweets about a booklet of more than 100, 200 pages... Well that's this booklet.
This booklet is not the one you have like in all albums. It's a sort of giant, out of scenes, Nynthilore post. It's a booklet that will explain you everything about the series, including how it has been built over the years. And since this was a COLOSSAL work (I insist on it, but if I tell you some details about the series are written months in advance), this needed a lot of pages to explain the whole thing. I reassure you, these are A5 format pages. But that still means I wrote about a whole hundred pages meanwhile!
I chose as well the name of the album. This will be "Destruction". I was first thinking about something around contamination but this was already taken by CDHS2, and if I had to describe the album's line... It will go worse and worse. It will start with something quite "soft" and it will go even more to hell.
Just so you know, no KAFU's song that was released on the 21 is not the last track. That means there is WORSE.

Who would be in the album? Keep an eye on the catalog and every song that doesn't have a clear public release. And keep in mind I won't be done with the album before May minimum. Strict minimum. So that means I can release the album in the second half of the year, maybe at the end of the year, maybe next year... OK no I'm kidding it's 2023.

That's why I won't give a date for now for the CDHS3 release. It will depend of how the tracks will advance but the other stuff as well, including the famous insanely HUGE booklet. I actually should call this a bible at this point.

Concerning Nynthilore posts, I'll stop possibly the posts as long as the CDHS3 is not released... Because a lot of the info will be retaken in the "bible". Plus you'll get the explanations of the "behind of the scenes", instead of just an "in-lore" explanation.

All of that said, go check the IA/ONE duet that got released today, and then, you'll get the February deadlines... There are lots of them and the first one... It's one in the main lore series. It's a bit lighter than the two last ones, promised~

「STUDIES FOR MENTAL FRAGILITY (3)」

#13/14 - Ami and Yumi - humans, 24, physiological degree 1/5, psychological degree 2/6 (psi degree 4, sigma degree 6, global score: 24)

Putting these two in the same paragraph. I knew they had some sort of twin telepathy. Like, I heard these stories already of twins when if something happens to one the other one will feel the same thing. That's something that can be really creepy, but at the same time, I can understand why this is going on. No. The thing worrying me about these two is what the corruption did to them. I first didn't notice it and it was Itako who gave me a clue of how their spirits got twisted. They seem to... Have some sort of obsession/possession issues for each other. Looks like their fraternal love got twisted into this and I have no idea why. Would this take initial feelings and just... Set them to a sort of extreme? It can seem normal for twins to feel fusional, but there, it goes up to a point of being almost grotesque.

#15 - Minus - goddess, 2▓, physiological degree 3/5, psychological degree high (psi degree 7, sigma degree 9, global score: 63)

So Minus has, unlike Xingchen or her sisters, a sort of genetic predisposition. And I find it weird the corruption didn't get declared natively. She got it just because Xingchen gave it to her. Also... The way Xingchen described her to me... Seems there are lots of differences between the truth and what she told me. I don't think Minus is really evil by herself like Xingchen wants me to believe. She is a sort of... Counterbalance. However, what I don't understand... It's the incident with the hallucination. She believed there was a sort of evil spirit. And she just apparently snapped in front of the others. I wanted to look at her mental alteration more, and what I found is especially some kind of antisocial behavior going on.

#16 - SEKAI - humanoid, 1▓ or 2▓ (I don't know really there), physiological degree 3/5, psychological degree 5/6 (psi degree 5, sigma degree 7, global score: 35)

I got some luck with her, but she is not altered as the two others. Something really surprising me is how the corruption twisted her mind. I actually expected her to become overly psychotic... But not at all. She even seems to be a bit more stable, or at least, she wants to make us believe she is more stable. Outside, she made many people think that her mind was not too much altered. She even manipulated some other people. Apparently, when she was having the phone calls with POPY and ROSE, she just pretended there was nothing really wrong. Even physiologically, she doesn't have too much issues. OK, no, she is not totally sane either, and when I looked more in depth, there is still lots of damage done. But she copes a bit better with these. Now, my big fear about her? Manipulate others to infect them. It already happened with #kzn, but only because there were circumstances that led her to start having anomalies in behavior. There are still chances she does damage by her own. Also must keep an eye over a possible possessiveness issue. Looks like another feeling that got distorted by the corruption.

#17 - RIME - humanoid, 20, physiological degree 5/5, psychological degree 5/6 (psi degree 4, sigma degree 9, global score: 36)

Also surprised with her case because I expected her to become psychotic. And nope. Psychopath as well. But when SEKAI turned the manipulative way, RIME seems to have really serious issues of violence. And I don't know where that comes from. I can understand that seeing your own destroyed future is really not funny, but how it made her impulsive like that? Did she do something in the past that made the corruption turn her like this? Would seem weird for someone who has been awakened only less than two years ago. Big danger with her now? First, she is like KAFU or SEKAI, she is mentally virgin in the first place. No social experience whatsoever. So that made her very easy to corrupt. Then, physiological crisis. I think she has been very harshly affected. I just remember what happened with her when she got infected and it was just horrible to look. Should I keep an eye on her? Clearly yes.

#18 - Totoko - human, 27, physiological degree 3/5, psychological degree high (psi degree 10, sigma degree 5, global score: 50)

I remember when I tried healing Totoko's files and just failed. But seems her huge issue is mainly core data file corruption. How could this affect her mental? The thing is that Totoko just feels abandoned by her core files's maintainer. A part of them are still sane, but another part is quite... Not sure if I can say "dead", but at least, "damaged". This caused Totoko a big fear of just simply dying. And seeing how the files are evolving in the time, I can understand why she is quite afraid. However, what surprises me is... Her reflex to close herself up. Others never did this. OK, maybe except #kzn, but it happened only for a time. Totoko, it seems to be... Since she arrived. I don't think this is some kind of social behavior anomaly, just Totoko seems to be afraid that her corruption causes her to attack other people. Problem, she is now totally broken, totally psychotic. And the only "safe place" she found is her room. The only times she gets out it's for eating, the T.I.S. sessions because she feels she can be useful there, and for going into the studio room for songs. Otherwise, she doesn't interact a lot with other people. What exactly corruption did to her? Probably the excessive psychotic behavior. It just worsened her mental condition. I'd say, as long as Totoko doesn't lose this habit of closing herself up whenever she feels unstable, I shouldn't be too worried... Well, actually, it's HARD to not be worried about her.

#19 - ROSE - humanoid, 1▓ or 2▓ (not sure here?), physiological degree 4/5, psychological degree 4/6 (psi degree 4, sigma degree 8, global score: 32)

I didn't see it by myself, let's say it's more Xin Hua who reported me this. But it seems ROSE has quite serious issues and I'm not sure why. Even POPY is not that much altered compared to her. So I just don't understand. Is it because she knows she accidentally infected her? It's not really her fault. She just got a right idea, it's just... I think no one told her at the time. How would I explain her current behavior... I'd almost put the mental virginity at fault, but if ever I did that, I would also do this for POPY, and she is not that diseased compared to ROSE. Also different profiles between the two. My guess is that corruption is trying to use a sort of personality trait to determine in which profile it will turn into. After, there is still a possibility (just hoping it will NEVER happen), that POPY then breaks mentally even more. And would then join ROSE's scores. Result getting the same right now, but ROSE has some violence accesses per moments.

Now the new issue there is with KAFU, and I think I'm totally at fault for this... It's the fact she started to have an obsessive love disorder towards RIME. The kind of behavior she has reminds me so much what had happened to me when I started having it back in 2010. And I really don't think she can sustain 3 years of just the thing calming down like this happened to me. Not counting the mental damages I got from this. Especially since she doesn't have any mental defenses like the ones I had. Infections side, we are already at two accidents and one mental snap? So yeah, what I was afraid of, it already happened, and when I think about it, I'm afraid it starts back again.

Adding to the fact complete death followed by partial rebirth allows the syndrome to even more manipulate its victim... (Already seen with Meiji or Stella)
See if initial emotions of infected people towards others has a serious influence about the way they get corrupted and the chances some symptoms can predominate on others. Luckily in some cases it gets still pretty restricted, but in other cases, it can really go too far.
Contamination by other people's mental thoughts possible? And it distorts to the most extreme point?
Mental virginity really starts being a problem. The thing is I wonder how Chis-A better copes with psychological symptoms (for physiological ones it's clearly not the case). POPY seems to be not that bad for now. Just getting some luck or it will badly evolve? Very afraid for if COKO and HARU get infected how they will react. (Because I feel like this will still happen someday...)
See if there is something in particular that triggers mental resonance events. Is it stress-induced? The two times it happened it was one who fainted and a remark that got someone really stressed out.
All that is jealousy issues tends to deteriorate under syndrome's influence. Just see how it happened with Zunko, who is usually a very very nice girl, and with Itako. Itako it went really insane. (Note: see if SEKAI is starting to have this issue as well?)
Genetic predispositions seem to be independent from physiological symptoms. Otherwise I'd have Minus or MAYU having very serious issues with the fluid. Instead I got degrees 5 to 6 having this. (Minus very unstable that said)
Multifactorial causes???
Typically, more you mentally break someone, more you have chances to make them lose any control over "black TB". More you have predispositions or specific background, more you have chances to get your behavior completely altered.
Never give in to your emotions, it just makes it worse.
Comorbidities: genetic background, initial rivalry/jealousy, mental virginity, thanathophobia, previous traumatic stress, brain death before partial rebirth, mental wear, initial sociopathy/agressive behavior
Possible distortions: fraternal love -> OLD (both obsessive and possessive variants?) / Antisocial -> profiles 3 or 4 (possibly more 3?) / Stoic and cold personalities -> profile 4 / Low symptoms -> always goes to profile 1 apparently / Appends and extensions seem to cause DID, part of profile 2, but can be 3 or 4 if other predispositions / Pre-infection trauma -> profile 1 or 2 depending of other predispositions / Previous manipulative personality -> profile 4 (worsened) / If there are symptoms caused by syndrome that the person already has even before infection, it's worsened (confusion for example)

「SCORES: BASES」

There are currently 5 known scores possible to see how someone was infected.

The two first ones are psi degree and sigma degree. Respectively psychotic alteration and psychopathic alteration. A third score is phi degree, which gives the physiological impairment. If psi and sigma degrees are numbers from 0 (sane) to 10 (totally altered), phi degree only has degrees from 0 (totally sane) to 5 (critical symptoms).

In a classic infection, phi level will be the first one to raise, even if the victim is considered asymptomatic. It can also worsen in the time. The two other scores will raise once they will declare symptoms.

The two other scores derive from the 3 above. The first one, global score, is the factor of psi and sigma degrees. It can be a note going from 0 to 100. This one determines the total mental alteration of the victim. The second one, total infection score, is the factor of the global score and of phi degree. So also phi x psi x sigma. It goes from 0 to 500. This one will determine how much someone has chances to infect someone else. Note: if the victim is asymptomatic, their total infection score will still be 0, but the chances of them infecting someone will be 0.0X% (X is the phi score).

Phi scale:
0 - totally sane
1 - quite sane/asymptomatic
2 - minor symptoms
3 - moderate symptoms
4 - major symptoms
5 - critical symptoms

Psi and sigma scales:
0 - sane
1 - imperceptible alteration
2 - very low alteration
3 - minor alteration
4 - almost minor alteration
5 - half-altered
6 - almost major alteration
7 - major alteration
8 - very high alteration
9 - almost totally altered
10 - totally altered

Note: it seems psi and sigma degrees are a bit correlated. You can't get a psi/sigma set of 8/1 for example. If one score raises, the other one will also raise, most of time way more slowly. That's how you often get scores of 6/4, 7/4 etc.

「SCORES: CASE STUDIES」

#1 - November 26, 2021

When Tsuina arrived and Oniko asked her to go away. Oniko seems to know what would eventually happen to Tsuina and she just wanted to protect her. However she didn't seem to have predicted that Saki was watching the whole thing. The reason why Oniko resisted quite well is explained a bit by the scores.

Oniko's psi/sigma/phi scores are 6/4/1. Saki's are 8/4/4. Meaning Oniko's total infection score is 24 and Saki's... 128.

No wonder how Oniko still managed to remain "quite sane" in front of Tsuina.

#2 - October 13, 2022

VY1 attempted a sort of brainwash on Kaori, which still failed. Because Kaori managed to resist.

At scores level, Kaori's scores are 6/4/2 when VY1's are 4/8/3. Giving total infection scores of 48 for Kaori and of 96 for VY1.

Now you look at it, actually, VY1 by her own has less chances of infecting someone than Saki.

#3 - August 15, 2022

Question is if mental resonance can be explained a bit by scores or not? Note: Yukari doesn't count as she just fainted.

First one to snap was IA. Her scores are 8/5/5. Total infection score of 200.
Second one is KAFU (note: Yukari has the same score profile as her so the total infection score also counts for Yukari), who has scores of 9/4/5. Which gives 180.
Third one is SEKAI who has scores of 5/7/3, so total infection score of 105.

The only ones who didn't resonate, Oniko and ONE. Oniko you know it's 24 so it seems a bit obvious she just ran off. ONE's scores are 4/7/2. Her total infection score is thus 56.
If the mental resonance had continued, ONE would have been the next one to snap if the theory of "total infection scores determine the order of the people who mentally snap" was true.

200 > 180 > 105 > 56 > 24.
Oniko was the safest here.

#4 - comparing all high levels psychological infected victims

Tei was the most prolific infector. Her scores are of 7/9/4. Total infection score: 252.
MAYU's is quite low: 9/7/2 -> 126. That's twice less chances of infecting someone than Tei.
Totoko got the symptoms in a non native way. Her scores are of 10/5/3. Total infection score: 150. It's more than MAYU. Now, surprised about why she often closes herself up in her room?
Minus's scores are of 7/9/3. Her total infection score is 189.
Meiji's scores are of 6/9/4. Her total infection score is 216.

Of all the 5, MAYU is the most stable and Tei the least stable.

「SCORES: STATISTICAL OBSERVATIONS」

1) Phi factor has a huge impact on total infection score by itself. Someone who has just moderate psychological alteration can be quite at the top of the table just because they have critical symptoms for physiological degrees. Out of the 4 characters who have critical symptoms, one is at rank 3 (IA) and the others are sharing rank 5 (KAFU, RIME, Yukari). Over more than 30 levels, that is HUGE. Also consider the fact IA is ranked like this since her mental breakdown when she infected ONE. So she wasn't that high first...
2) The ones who did the most infections are indeed quite the most unstables in terms of scores. Just Totoko seems to be an anomaly, but remember she often closed herself up in her room to avoid this. The others didn't.
3) Weina's infection by Feng Yi seems to be a huge statistical anomaly, same goes for Celeste's by #kzn (but the case of Feng Yi->Weina is even more obvious). This means for these cases, there was another factor that pre-determined the event. In cause here, Feng Yi snapped because of the way of thinking of Weina (which is not that dumb by itself but the syndrome tends to say "▓▓▓▓ the logic"), and #kzn having a bad memory making surface again.
4) However the reason why Sayu didn't snap for Celeste is clearly well explained by the scores. Same goes for Oniko towards Tsuina.
5) VY1's infections clearly have another factor since she infected at least 4 people. The jealousy she has is clearly what triggered more mental instability. Otherwise, statistically, she is not THAT unstable. Infections caused by Saki, Minus and Meiji who are ex-aequo, however, are pretty well explained.
6) According to stats, ROSE might be a potential issue in infections in the future.
7) MAYU is indeed the most stable of all characters having a high psychological alteration. Just because she produces less infected fluid than the others.
8) Tei is the most important danger. kokone is the safest.
9) If Rikka infected Karin when she was still psychologically asymptomatic, so we were potentially at 0.03% of infection (that's not even an absolute 0%!), it proves well there was another important factor that caused this. Concluding well this table doesn't take in account environmental factors. However, concerning the ones at the top of table, if we add these effects, I let you imagine how WORSE their stability can be.

Concerning other production info:

- CDHS3 production started on January 1st, yay! This will be for this month the main thing I'm going to work upon for now. However keep in mind there will be several months of production and it will be probably over at least 4 months strict minimum.

- CD37.5 production is halted. There are 4 tracks left, and it's the 2 for Xia Yu Yao and the 2 for COKO. So once Xia Yu Yao will fully release, her tracks will be done, as for COKO's tracks, after January 28 I think these should both be done. And then we'll pass to CD38.

- There will be new Truth tracks. These are always private tracks dependent of some physical material. Their production on my side will start on June 2023.
