There is no real story, this is typically psychological. Mania is just not an impulsive use, it's an actual symptom. What kind of symptoms? Well you have few ones here. And because mania is typically a sort of "inverted depression", I think an upbeat song was fine.

Story: about a girl who gets possessed by another spirit without having the chance to be herself anymore. Her case became so much interesting to the point some scientists decided to study what would happen to her and why. But nobody will have the answer to what could heal her.

And hey, they quite sing good together! Used the Lin VB of Yukari this time. I mainly use this VB for lyrics with very short notes, but here... Since CUL can have a little cute acute voice at some moments... Choice is done I want to say?
The song doesn't have a story actually... I think only its comment ("Death has no regulations. Death is cruel.") is a bit enough to understand the thing.

Lyrics are quite harsh, but it's sometimes by going to an extreme side you can see how far it can go. (It's a bit my method for denonciating something if you know me quite well.)
For the people who don't know what calumnies are, it's typically when you badmouth someone just to destroy their reputation, to make them feel ashamed. After there is a definition given by the law depending of the country... In a nutshell, complicated definition. Here I made the situation quite general. I could talk about any topic, discriminations, bullying, things like that... But when you notice all the contexts where you encounter them... Quite difficult to focus on only one topic.
This time I decided to split the lyrics into 2 parts: verses (Lily is the one singing them) and chorus (Yukari does it).
Because the last time I decided to do a duet Yukari/Lily, when they were together in duet, I had a feeling of "that's quite weird". Didn't take the risk here.
