OK first announcement you might know since Sunday: POPY and ROSE finally got their release dates unveiled! Which are December 21, 2022 for downloads and February 28, 2023 for physicals. I'll be taking download vers for now 3 reasons: money ones but also now an issue of single physical voicebank not existing and for release date reasons (physicals arrive 2 months after the download vers).
Their arrival date should be a minima on December 20, 2022 after 4 PM (GMT+1), on DLSite if possible. Otherwise, it will be possibly other websites (Vector? Their own website?), and it can be on the 21st, either very early in the morning, either after I come back from work (so not before 5:30 PM GMT+1 something like that)
Deadlines for 2022 for these 2 won't be applied due to schedule conflicts, but here they are:
- they will both be sharing the December 21 deadline.
- ROSE will have another deadline on October 17
- POPY's other deadline will be shared with Oniko's second deadline on December 25
If you want for her songs, you'll have to wait mid-2023.
Before coming to the albums, I learnt quite sad news, but there are high chances that the AI banks of Quadimension for Minus and Xingchen's sisters might never exist, since the SynthV Plus voicebanks were revealed to be technical demos not meant for commercial release, making them quite stuck with the standard voicebanks. This waiting for the AI voicebanks created the "cryogenic room plan", which was to get the standard voicebanks, put them in standby status (no songs nothing, they are just activated on the computer but that's it) and wait for the AI release to put them in the team for good.
With the recent announcements I'll have to switch to what I called... A C plan. Not even a B plan, a C plan.
The B plan was actually to learn Chinese, start making songs in Chinese and buy a Chinese VOCALOID to start working on Chinese songs so the vsqx could have been imported to SynthV as I usually do. I had called this "Hastur plan" because the VOCALOID that would have been selected to fill this plan up, I call her a bit "the yellow queen", and it was Mo Qingxian. Yellow queen, king in yellow, you understood the reference.
C plan is... Dictionary. That's why I called it "Necronomicon plan". This plan involves to use a dictionary that was created for standard voicebanks, and one is fitting the Quadimension voicebanks. This dictionary was made by irunabara, who did a version for Xingchen, her sisters and Minus, and another version for AiKO, another standard SynthV. This will permit the girls to sing in Japanese, maybe with a strong Chinese accent, but still to sing in Japanese. I was already impressed how producers like Circus-P managed to make sing Haiyi in English with quite well understandable lyrics, despite her only being able to sing in Chinese, so I think the Japanese dictionary of irunabara would be no issue.
Now: when will they enter in the team?
Minus and Xingchen sisters are considered as part of the team starting of this morning.
Here are the deadlines for them, but none for 2022 will be respected:
- Minus: September 10 only
- Cangqiong: May 20 and November 17
- Chiyu: November 26 and June 5 (deadline shared with GUMI, solo songs for both)
- Haiyi: July 22 only
- Shian: January 19* and October 26
* early 2023 deadline won't be done due to schedule issues. Minato's already an exception.
First albums where they'll start appear:
- all girls get a song (Xingchen sisters together and Minus in solo) in CD37 "Exquisite Corpse". These will be album only songs part of the main lore series.
- Cangqiong will start having solos in CD37.5, one public demo, one private song.
- Chiyu will start having her songs in CD38, same style as Cangqiong (a private and a public).
- Haiyi will start having her songs in CD38.5 along with the second half of July deadlines (a private and a public).
- Minus will have a private solo in CD37 - she takes a track that HARUKA was meant to have as solo, instead HARUKA shares SARAH's song. You'll get more explanations on this choice later.
- Shian either in CD39, CD39.5 or CD40 depending of the deadlines organization (a private and a public), along with October deadlines.
This makes for CD37, CD37.5 and CD38:
- CD37 has 30 songs now.
- CD37.5 has also 30 songs. POPY and ROSE will appear in this one.
- CD38 has 27 songs. Xia Yu Yao's songs have been moved there for now and this is the tracklist which will be more subject to evolution.
This makes the status for voicebanks:
- Minato: December 1, 2022 arrival
- POPY and ROSE: December 20, 2022 arrival (otherwise next day)
- COKO: January 24, 2023 arrival
- HARU: spring 2023 arrival
- Xia Yu Yao: very probably arrival in 2023, the time they finish the beta testing
- Minus, Cangqiong, Chiyu, Haiyi, Shian: part of the team starting of November 22, 2022 by using a CN/JP dictionary (and this until they get the idea to do real AI voicebanks if ever they do so!)
You might get some more Nynthilore posts this week by the way. Maybe related to what's been said above.
