CD30.5 "Hellish Waters of Styx"

These are first the changes for 3 tracks.

"Closed Eyes" and "Drowning in the Styx": these are the less obvious ones, but the Neutron Elements got replaced by a Neutron 3 Advanced. Same preset however.

"Jade Mother Queen": in addition to the change done on the 2 other tracks above, I added patterns of yangqin (by the new Yangqin library by Native Instruments) and of guzheng (by the Plectra series one).

Now the info about the 8 inedite tracks:

"Clotho", "Lachesis", "Atropos": the 3 are sister songs about the 3 Moirai. Clotho is the one giving birth to the human and starting the thread, Lacheis is the one measuring the thread and thus continuing the life, Atropos is the one who cuts the thread with her scissors, causing death of the concerned person. They are all very feared by the mortals due to their influence on people's destinies. In the song, they all have a sort of more human face and feelings (a bit less for Atropos, but she still explains her reasons, talking about an equilibrium between alive/dead people).

"Obsession": (this song is considered as yandere) About a girl being the subject of obsession of a yandere girl, until she totally gets her mental broken by paranoia, by sensations of being observed in the dark, by opressed feelings... To the day she decides to burn the house of the one who is stalking her, totally deprived of any common sense and any thought. It's a very sad song, a "descent into hell" of a first very innocent character who gets intensively mentally destroyed.

"Not What It Seems": about a girl who is friends with another woman, even if the feelings tend to go towards love, but not completely, and imploring (if not threating) people to stop lying about their relationship.

"ANANKEA": (this song is considered as yandere) A mermaid who sees a young woman falling into the sea. She decides to save her but falls in love with her, and gets so obsessed with her she decides she would never return her to the human world, even deciding to kill anyone approaching her, afraid of them hurting her.

"Crying Fairy": this song is inspired from a story of Brittany. A man is being admired by almost everyone in the village, but he's already married to a woman. The story of the man's beauty goes even to the fairy world, where a fairy gets curious and falls in love with him. In order for her plan to succeed, she prepares a love potion. However, the man's wife, worried of not seeing her husband coming back home, prays so strongly that the man, after being attracted by the fairy's beauty, throws away the potion into the sea, rejecting the fairy. The fairy goes into the sea to get back her belonging, and remains there, crying and crying, making the sea as salty as we know it now.

"Recipe for Good Torture": (part of the Pandemonium series) Remember the demon Yukari was interpretating in "Pandemonium"? Here is the demon in question. Rathering to hurt people with the bad words the sinners have been using. And not using any physical violence. This is, for this demon, what the perfect recipe for good torture is.

Welp, this is how 2020 ends, with a damned virus, hoping that 2021 won't be as worse as 2020 was. Take care of yourselves. Wear face masks, stay at home when needed, be ready to make sacrifices.

To be honest, I didn't live the lockdown as harshly as some other people may have known. Probably due to my way of thinking and due to the fact I'm very awkward with people in general, I need a more limited sociability. And gosh, how this helped me.

Of course there were changes in my life. Just look at the songs done in March and April. "Little Closed World", the song that perfectly reflects how the lockdown had an impact on us.

86 songs released on 2020... That's way less than usual, but this year, I didn't feel too much fatigue. Unlike previous years.

So what's for 2021... You'll get "Awake Angel" with Tianyi on the 1st... Hoping to release it for midnight by scheduled release. Soon a new computer, because it was suffering when rendering this song (the ones on Twitter know what I'm talking about!), soon maybe CeVIO AI and SynthV AI... Who knows. 2021 will be weird.
